What is Mobipaid?
Mobipaid is an integrated payment solution that allows businesses to send payment requests to their customers using instant messaging platforms, SMS, MMS, email, social media and QR codes. Businesses can also use it to create a checkout for their online (website) sales. Payment requests can be sent from the Merchant Portal, while we provide a full API for businesses looking to integrate Mobipaid to their existing workflows.
The paying customer (i.e. the cardholder) is not required to download an app or register to make a payment. The cardholder simply follows the payment link or scans the QR code and enters his or her card details to make the payment. To avoid typing out the long form card details for every payment, recurring customers can save up to five cards securely and pay using the Mobipaid Wallet.
Mobipaid offers the most straightforward and convenient way for your customers to make payments and works with cards and, depending on your location, SEPA, direct debit, instant EFT as well as alternative payment forms like PayPal. It is used by businesses, both large and small and works equally well for those with websites and those without.
How does it work?
Simply send an instant message, SMS, MMS or email a personalized payment request to your customers who follow an embedded link to a secure payment page to make the payment. Payment confirmation is immediate to you and your customer(s). Alternatively you can embed our payment link to your website to create an online checkout. What types of payments do you offer?
We offer single payment requests and recurring billing. We also give you the opportunity to monetize your social media accounts by taking secure payments on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. In just a few clicks you can start your own campaign to raise funds for a good cause or sell excesss or perishable in inventory via auction.
What currencies and payment forms are offered?
Mobipaid supports all currencies, card types (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Diners, Union Pay etc.), SEPA payments, Direct Debit, Instant EFT (subject to local bank APIs) as well as alternative payment forms such as Apple Pay, Google Pay and Paypal. Why would I use Mobipaid?
Using Mobipaid gives you additional selling channels and makes it simple for customers to pay you. Whether you take payments via link or online, your customer will never have to download an app to pay you. For repeat customers, we offer the Mobipaid wallet which allows your customers store cards securely and manage payments.
There is no set up or running cost and we only get paid when you do. You get access to a free customisable Merchant Portal from where you can upload and manage all your customers. We provide you a log of all your transactions and a reconciliation engine for your payments and a means to easily export them to accounting software Quickbooks. Using Mobipaid will assist in driving additional sales for you by providing you with the tools to correct failed payments and automate reminders to customers when payments are due.
Mobipaid also relieves you of the PCI compliance burden associated with card-not-present payments, as you will never again need to request your customers card details.
Can it help my business grow?

Under one Mobipaid account you can take payments online, in person, over the phone and across Social Media. With Mobipaid you can additional users on your account so your sales force can make use of it. You can also add different currencies from your in addition to your home currency.
How secure is your system?
Very. All payments are processed in a PCI DSS Level 1 environment.
Your customers card data never leaves a secure PCI environment, protecting both you and your customer. We work with the leading banks in our markets and are a Visa Global Partner. We use JWT to create tokens HS 256 and amazons key management service (KMS) for encryption and decryption keys. All transactions happen across SSL. We use Amazons WAF (web application firewall) and Guard Duty for network security and monitoring.
Why will my customers like it?
For a number of reasons! Not having to download an app or record personal details cuts the hassle factor of making a payment. Your customers will never again have to give their card details, as they will be paying directly from their own device. It is easy, convenient, and they can pay anywhere, anytime.
What does it cost to use?
You will pay a transaction-based fee which varies depending on your location. There are no setup or monthly charges, meaning you pay only when you use Mobipaid. Simple and straightforward. You get paid before we do.
How can I open an account?
Simply register online at mobipaid.com and upload the requested documentation. Depending on your location you could be live in a few hours.
Who handles my funds?
Your funds will be handled and settled in all cases by a regulated banking entity or payment services provider.
Can I use my existing merchant account?
In most cases yes, this is possible as we are connected to over 300 banks in our network. Depending on our relationship with your merchant services provider and your business model, there maybe an additional fee charged. Get in contact for more details.
What cards can my customers use to pay?
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Diners, American Express etc. In some cases this may depend on whether your existing merchant services provider can support the card or payment type. We also offer PayPal, ApplePay & GooglePay as well as our own Mobipaid Wallet which allows the cardholder store five cards.
