What is Mobipaid?

Mobipaid is a turnkey solution that allows merchants to deliver payment requests to their customers using text messaging (SMS), picture messaging (MMS), email, social media, and QR codes. Cardholders do not need to download an app or register to be able to make a payment. Mobipaid offers the most straightforward and convenient way for your customers to make payments.

How does it work?

Simply send a text and/or email a personalized payment request to your customers who follow an embedded link to a secure payment page to make the payment. Payment confirmation is instant to you and your customer(s).

What types of payments do you offer?

We offer single payment requests as well as recurring billing, group, and bulk payments. We also give you the opportunity to monetize your social media accounts by taking secure payments on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

In what currencies can I accept payment?

We can currently process the following currencies:

How secure is it?

Very. All payments take place in a secure PCI Level 1 certified gateway. Your customers card data never leaves a secure PCI environment, protecting both you and your customer.

For a number of reasons! Not having to download an app or record personal details cuts the hassle factor of making a payment. Your customers will never again have to give their card details, as they will be paying directly from their own device. It is easy, convenient, and they can pay anywhere, anytime.

What does it cost to use?

There is no setup or monthly charges, meaning you pay only when you use Mobipaid. We charge a text SMS (text) fee (emails are free) and a per-transaction fee. The bank or acquirer that provides the merchant services will charge their standard processing fees directly to you.

How can I open an account?

Simply register at mobipaid.com and one of our representatives will contact you shortly. You will need to have your own merchant services account number or we will get one for you. The process takes only a few days and you will be ready to start taking payments.

Who handles my funds?

Your regulated merchant services provider we use to process your payments. We can choose from any number of partners we work with or in many instances you can simply use your own.

So I can use my existing merchant account?

In most cases yes, this is possible. We can also provide you with an additional quote from our partner network of card processors.

What cards can my customers use to pay?

Visa,  MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We also offer PayPal, ApplePay & GooglePay.
